The Ninja 1000SX’s highly rigid aluminium frame offers a high degree of mass centralisation, offering a balance of agility and firm handling.  The bike responds quickly to rider input, while offering an excellent ability to soak up bumps and ruts.  Highly composed, the Ninja 1000SX’s superb straight-line stability and its planted feeling in corners make it easy to spend long hours in the saddle.

A number of supersport-style components contribute to the Ninja 1000SX’s sport riding potential. An inverted front fork and Horizontal Back-link rear suspension are complemented by a supersport-style brake package, including triple brake discs, radial-mount monobloc calipers and radial-pump front brake master cylinder.

BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tires contribute to lighter handling, while offering enhanced grip in both dry and wet conditions, which translates to greater rider confidence and enjoyment.

Complementing the Ninja 1000SX’s exhilarating engine character, the quick shifter enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts for seamless acceleration and quick and easy deceleration.

Offering both control and comfort, the Ninja 1000SX’s relaxed riding position was designed to accommodate everything from city riding to touring to sport riding.  This blend of comfort and control allows the rider to enjoy a variety of riding situations.

Thick, wide rider and passenger seats deliver a high level of comfort, facilitating long hours in the saddle. A host of accessory seat options are available to cater to rider and passenger needs and preference.

The mounting system for the accessory saddlebags* allows the panniers to be attached and removed very simply, contributing to increased convenience. Seamlessly integrating the panniers with the rear of the bike, the clean-mount system positions the panniers close to the bike centreline, its clean clutter-free design ensuring the rear of the bike still looks good with the panniers removed.

Kawasaki’s cruise control system allows a desired speed to be maintained with the simple press of a button.

Contributing to the Ninja 1000SX’s touring performance, a number of Kawasaki genuine accessories are available: saddlebags (28 litres), top case (47 litres), multiple seat options, large windshield, grip heaters, power outlets, and much more.

Three modes cover a wide range of riding conditions, offering either enhanced sport riding performance or the peace of mind under certain conditions to negotiate low-traction surfaces with confidence.

Kawasaki’s supersport-grade brake management system uses high-precision control to regulate brake pressure during sporty riding.  KIBS also incorporates corner braking management, modulating brake force to assist riders in holding their intended line through the corner.

Integrated riding modes link Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) and Power Modes to offer varying traction control and power delivery settings to suit different riding conditions. Sport mode enables sporty riding for winding roads. Road mode offers comfortable riding over a wide range of conditions. Rain mode delivers reassurance over wet surfaces. Rider (manual) mode lets you set each system independently.

The compact 4.3” all-digital TFT (thin-film transistor) colour instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech appearance. The screen’s background colour is selectable (black or white), and screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available light.

A Bluetooth chip built into the instrument panel enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly.  Using the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.
